Personal Statement

"I experience my own growing process and effectiveness as the heart of your growth. Growth is never finished. My training analysis with Jonas Kolker, M.D. of the Washington/Baltimore Psychoanalytic Society helped me understand what is resolvable, make clear my blind spots, find which personal scars are intractable, and discover the slipperiness of the unconscious."

"I received a Bachelor's degree and Certificate of Design from Parson's School of Design in New York City. I hold a Master of Divinity (cum laude) from St. Paul School of Theology, Methodist, in Kansas City, and a Doctor of Ministry in pastoral counseling from Wesley Theological Seminary, Methodist, in Washington, D.C. My Ph.D. is in psychology from Boston University."

"I am a Diplomate in, and an Examiner for, the American Board of Professional Psychology, and an Approved Supervisor of therapists for the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy."

"As an adjunct faculty member at the Department of Psychology in Northern Arizona University, I teach a course in personality theory. I am very fortunate to be able to share that it is often touted as the "best course I've ever taken."
